This position owns Strategic Marketing responsibilities across Toshiba Memory America’s (TMA) entire SSD portfolio of Client, Data Center, and Enterprise SSD products. You will analyze new market segments, new product concepts, new business opportunities and plan the entry into new product segments. You will work closely with a variety of teams including Product Management, Marketing, Customers, Ecosystem Partners and Business Intelligence to drive new product concepts into real products. This is a great opportunity to influence the strategic direction and long-term roadmap of the company that invented flash memory and is a trusted supplier to some of the best known brands in the client, data center, and enterprise markets.
Bring your knowledge of the storage industry and a focus on the strategic, business, financial viability of new concepts to help us grow in new areas or find new ways to expand / strengthen our current business. Analyze the strategic impact and business impact of entering various new segments and developing new products based upon TMA’s overall financial performance and relationship with customers; Recommendations to senior management, based on data-driven analysis and careful consideration of key factors, on which new markets and opportunities warrant investment and prioritization, along with how new entries strategically impact our existing portfolio.
