Responsible for a team that develops, applies and maintains quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a manager in the technical/process QA division, you will lead a team that designs, installs and evaluates quality control methods and systems. You will also develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.
The successful candidate will drive Customer Development and Sales activities for the converged compute and storage system called Flash Matrix and its associated future roadmap. The successful candidate will assist in identifying and analyzing new revenue opportunities within defined target markets and set of end customers. This person will develop, maintain and grow key customer relationships with intent to grow Flash Matrix’s business. The ideal candidate will possess account management skills and have the technical depth that allows them to understand the needs of these accounts and then drive alignment with Toshiba’s goals. This person will have relationships with product, engineering and business teams at these accounts and will be able to communicate Toshiba value proposition to a broad set of decision makers and influencers. The candidate will be able to create the customer growth strategy and have the ability to think strategically to drive growth and revenue. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with the complex design cycles for industrial products and edge based compute intensive applications. This position is based in San Jose, CA, but can work remotely.
