Senior Principal ASIC Verification Engineer

Job Overview:

This person will be involved in the verification of various types of SSD controllers including SATA, and PCI-E. He/she will work as a key technical personal in the team providing technical guidance to other members. He/she will also get involved in developments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • This position will own the whole or parts of sub modules verification and/or full chip verification in SSD controllers. Such modules are SATA controller, Buffer Manager, DDR3/4 Memory controller, NAND flash controller, and various peripheral controllers.
  • Define and develop verification architecture and methodology
  • Writing verification plans, tests, and building random/directed test benches.
  • Working with design team and firmware team.
  • Provides technical guidance to other team members

 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of SoC verification
  • Experience in Verilogj/C co-simulation methodology, random and directed test bench building
  • Hands on experience with UVM/OVM
  • Good SoC architecture knowledge including AMBA and embedded processors
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Verilog, SystemVerilog
  • NAND Flash knowledge / experience is highly recommended
  • PCIe, NVMe, ECC ( BCH/LDPC ) experience is highly recommended
