Business Development Manager/Sr. Manager/Director
Location: Houston, TX; Austin, TX; OR San Jose, CA
Be the boots on the ground inside Dell and HPE’s sales floor. Understand the best practices to affect the sales of Toshiba SSDs and create/manage effective programs to boost visibility, mindshare and sales. Create tracking mechanisms and sync with Dell’s POS to verify sales of Toshiba storage products.
Develop and execute additional MDF activities at Dell and HPE, including but not limited to events (Dell World, Dell FRS, HPE Discover) and marketing collateral (white papers/briefs, group outings, Solution Center activities, trainings)
The Business Development Leader will have a primary focus on developing and leading a Go To Market strategy within Dell and HPE to promote Toshiba’s SSD portfolio. Applying the knowledge of OEMs sales processes and other SSD vendor’s GTM approach - guiding Toshiba towards the highest ROI in products and marketing activities (MDF); and to be able to justify which products and activities to pass over. The candidate will have a deep understanding of the OEM sales landscape, products and tools which will enable them to engage directly with the sales team on complex deals. Leverage existing relationship with the OEMs sales team to drive customer engagements to establish share-of-mind for Toshiba’s products. Coordinate sales activities to strengthen relationships with key decision makers, influence OEM’s sales team and customers on Toshiba’s SSDs (over the competitor.. i.e Intel or Samsung).
