Sr. Manager, Enterprise SSD Segment - NCG

Job Summary

This position is targeted towards new MBA college grads.

As our Sr. Manager Enterprise SSD Segment Lead, new MBA Graduate on the SSD marketing team, you will be responsible for the overall success of Enterprise SSDs for the Texas region, including design wins, revenue, and margin. Work closely with sales, product managers, customer support, business operations, supply chain management to achieve overall Toshiba goals.  You will understand customer applications, challenges, and how to solve them.



  • Create SSD TAM analysis for accounts in the Texas region, identifying top targeted opportunities based on revenue potential, product alignment, expected gross margins, and business terms
  • Drive detailed plans to win business in the short and long term
  • Monitor share and develop proposals to maximize Enterprise SSD share
  • Monitor and analyze competitor positions and develop responses for maximum revenue and margin
  • Track progress on design wins, technical issues, and manage escalation of gaps
  • Work with product management to prioritize roadmap requests linked to revenue and return on investment
  • Work with sales to arrange Executive meetings, QBRs/QTRs and prepare presentations for each
  • Understanding the competitive landscape across all SSDs sold through large OEMs and applying that knowledge to grow Toshiba’s market share
  • Regular travel required: 25%-35% domestic and international



  • 5+ years in technical product marketing/management at a high-technology company (preferred)
  • SSD storage or flash memory experience is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including working with people from diverse backgrounds and expertise 
  • Experience working with OEM, datacenter and channel customers
  • Ability to communicate technical and business topics with appropriate audience
  • Executive level presentation capabilities, creation and delivery  
  • Worked with tier 1 and tier 2 OEM’s, broad experience across product management, product marketing, sales, and business development roles
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating priorities



  • Technical Degree required – new or recent MBA graduate required
