Order Management Specialist - 1729

Job Summary:

As an integral part of the TMA Order Management team, this position will be primarily responsible for supporting the Operation Planning Team and customers. Key responsibilities will include interfacing with customers, internal TMA and GA teams as well as communicating operational issues. This role will report to the Director of Operations Order Management.


  • Daily customer service to ensure all customer inquiries regarding supply, accounting issues, and system issues (among others) are answered
  • Maintenance of Customer Master records and associated ship-to sites for GA accounts
  • Maintaining customer item cross references for new items and maintaining EOL items as announced
  • Shipment reconciliation to insure timely shipment processing is completed
  • Correcting all EDI errors as they pertain to Regular and Pull Transactions
  • Work with the Operations team on any issues pertaining to GA account transactions
  • Maintain customer price lists with updated pricing information provided by Sales and BU
  • Work with IT to conduct any system change related testing
  • Accessing customer websites to extract payment date information and post corrected issues
  • Work with various buyers for PO accuracy and pricing issues, as well as follow up and resolve any PO errors
  • Support other team members as needed
  • Be the key liaison between assigned customers, Sales, as well as GA teams
  • Support Account Receivable's invoice issues and daily operations
  • Manage daily, weekly and monthly sales reporting for all Hub Location providing transaction information to each BU assigned.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned
  • Partner with Sales, Operations & Finance to execute interconnecting processes impacting Order to Cash Process
  • Partner with the Business Applications team to document, review, and test business requirements and system enhancements to ERP and CRM systems to automate and optimize the order to cash process
  • Develop, document, and implement existing and new processes/procedures
  • Assist with special projects as requested


  • The ideal candidate will have great organizational skills with the ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy, shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions while completing strict deadlines
  • The candidate must have a strong working proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, as well as Oracle or similar ERP system familiarity.
  • Exceptional analytical & communication and skills are required.

  • Demonstrated strength in facilitating projects, multi-tasking, and setting priorities
  • Must be able to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Can work well under pressure & is proactive in meeting/exceeding customer expectations
  • A minimum of four (4) to six (6) years of directly applicable experience in demand planning/customer service/business management in a technology field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of directly applicable experience in manufacturing operations and purchase order / sales order administration, demand planning / customer service / business management in a technology field


  • BS/BA Marketing, Business Administration, or Finance or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience
