About the Group:
This role is supporting the HDD Business Marketing & Business Operations segment in TAEC and reporting to Senior Director of OEM & Local Segment. TAEC is committed to putting customers first, building long-term partnerships based on trust, good faith, and collaboration. Guided by a data-driven approach, the team delivers a dynamic portfolio of storage solutions spanning enterprise, OEM, channel, and retail customers.

About the role:
We are seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented individual to join our BU team. In this role, you will assist in collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data to support day-to-day sales operations and business insights. You will work with multiple data sources and apply your understanding of key sales operations concepts. This position provides hands-on exposure to how data informs business performance, channel dynamics, and decision-making processes across the organization.
  • HDD Industry: Explore how the HDD industry has evolved over time, understand today’s market dynamics and product landscape, and discover where the technology is heading next.
  • Sales and forecast Tracking: Monitor and analyze actual sales and forecast data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain a broader understanding of business drivers and how sales insights inform planning decisions.
  • Database Structuring: Build and organize databases by consolidating information from multiple sources. Ensure data accuracy and consistency through cleaning, restructuring, and integration processes to support reliable reporting and analysis.
  • Data Reporting: Support the automation of reporting processes and creation of dashboards to visualize sales, inventory, and forecast data, improving visibility and clarity of key business metrics.
  • AI & Data Exploration: Contribute to the use of AI-enabled tools to enhance data discovery, querying, and self-service access to structured datasets. Focus on improving data usability, documentation, and accessibility to enable broader organizational use.
  • Customer & Channel Insights: Go beyond aggregated channel data by examining point-of-sale (POS) data at the individual customer level. Identify unique sales patterns, product performance, and regional trends to better understand differences among channel customers.

Experience/Skills:
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in solving problems and learning new tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of data analysis languages (e.g. SQL, R, Stata, Python, etc)
  • Exposure to data visualization, reporting, or AI-powered tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
